VFW Post 210 Is active in our community sponsoring many youth activities that build strong character and patriotism. Patriots Pen, Voice of Democracy, Support for Scouting are just a few of our programs.

VFW Post 210 and American Legion Post 210 honor our fallen veterans on Memorial Day 2017. Looking for a hands on opportunity to serve veterans and their families? Join the VFW Post 210 Ramp Team. Our Ramp team builds ramps to help veterans in wheel chairs to safely enter and exit their home. The team also helps veteran families in need complete critical repairs and maintenance to help them stay in their home. Terry Branham, Retired Army COL, leads the teams to provide good works to our veteran community.
Marc Anderson has led our Poppy Distribution Campaign the last 2 years and raised over $30,000 for veteran service programs. In 2017 Marc's team raised over $18,000 in May. This great work allows the post to put on Memorial ceremonies to honor our deceased comrades. The fundraising also allows us to lend a helping hand to veterans. In 2017 we helped a Burnsville Iraq veteran to rebuild his home after discovery of a severe mold infestation soon after purchasing his home. Funds will be put to use on emergency repairs to support local veterans. For aid to Veterans Home in Hastings and other urgent needs in our community.
