Examples of the uses of the funds raised are donations made to the Hastings Veterans Home to build a new greenhouse for therapeutic gardening activities.   Rehabilitation of a local veterans home after it was discovered that it had a significant mold infestation the needed to be rehabilitated.  Americanism activities in the schools and emergency aid to veterans and families in need.
